Flourish Flowers is built on the idea that we are all meant to have beauty in our lives.
The business of Flourish Flowers was encouraged into reality by a friend who believes the best line of work is one you would do for free.
2022 was the opening season and it's been awesome to share this journey of flowers with the community!

Flourish's flowers are grown on our family's home property, a small parcel of land in Myersville, Maryland. These local and sustainably-grown cut flowers are available from mid-April through September. The best way to guarantee the best bouquets are with a subscription, delivered to your door in Frederick County, Maryland. Additional bouquets will be available at local businesses as supplies allow.

Most of all, I look forward to getting to know my customers and cultivating a relationship of joy and beauty!

A portion of the proceeds will go to providing beauty, flowers and joy to the elderly and women's shelters in our community.
meet Tara
I think about flowers every day.
They bring so much joy and beauty and so many lessons, too. Sometimes they grow, sometimes they struggle. Sometimes the weather is perfect and sometimes there is too much rain/ wind/ cold. But they press on.

I am a busy wife and mom taking care of my crew but also love to hike, plan adventures, try new recipes, and laugh.
​
For years, I have enjoyed growing my own flowers and learning about plants. I love to share them with others and see the joy a simple bouquet can bring. With a background in natural resources and iced tea in hand, I will be working my little corner of this earth using environmental-friendly and organic practices.

Adjustments can be made for vacations with prior notice.
Flowers will be available during business hours Thursday and Friday of the designated week.
Flowers not picked up by the close of business on Fridays will be forfeited and donated at the descretion of Flourish Flowers.
